Founded in 2013 by Nick Cronan and Josh Morenstein, is a San Francisco-based design studio specializing in industrial design at the intersection of culture, art, lifestyle, and commerce. Both founders hail from the Bay Area and were raised in families deeply rooted in design and craftsmanship. Nick Cronan studied Industrial Design at the California College of the Arts, where he honed his skills and developed a passion for sustainable design practices. Josh Morenstein, a second-generation industrial designer, spent his formative years at his father's foundry in San Francisco, learning the importance of good craftsmanship. Branch Creative specializes in creating innovative and sustainable products, focusing on renewable energies, sustainable materials, and ethical production processes. Their portfolio includes a diverse range of products, from furniture and housewares to cutting-edge technology items. Notable collaborations include designing the Fellow Opus Conical Grinder, which was longlisted in the product design category of the Dezeen Awards 2024. They have also worked with brands such as Google, Council, Plume, L’Oreal, Nextbit, Kuri Robot, Thync, and Athos. Branch Creative has received several accolades for their work, including an IDSA Gold award for the Lancome Hapta, an IDSA Silver for the Fellow Tally Pro Scale, and recognition as Fast Company's Design of the Year 2024 for the Opus Conical Grinder.
